Mr Eze Enelamah

Mr. Eze Enelamah has over 27 years-experience spanning auditing and financial advisory, corporate finance and investment banking, debt capital placing, private equity investing and development finance across several markets in Africa. Eze was a former a partner in Frontier Heights Capital (FH Capital) a Johannesburg headquartered, sub-Saharan Africa focused principal investment, financial advisory services and capital raising firm.

At FH Capital, Eze was in charge of the Firms’ financial advisory, and capital raising business, supervises the investment team, coordinates, and manages the firm’s senior client relationships and business development and drives strategy and capital raising efforts. Among other transactions, Eze recently completed a success capital raising for several high impact opportunities, including a high growth FINTECH firm head-quartered in Botswana, with presence in 6 Southern and Eastern Africa countries, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) investment platform of leading South Africa integrated real estate and asset management firm among others.

Prior to co-founding FH Capital in 2014, Eze spent 9 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group (WBG) as an investment executive, transaction leader and relationship manager and as part of the team that had coverage for the Institution’s investment in financial institutions across key markets in sub-Saharan Africa, Eze has practical experience in investing in financial intermediaries. While at IFC Eze led multi-disciplinary investment and advisory teams making investments in large financial institutions in sub-Saharan Africa increasing access to financial services for the underserved market segments in key markets on the continent including SMEs.

Eze’s experience in IFC included making new investments in financial institutions in South African Development Community (SADC) countries and managing a portfolio of IFC investments in the region. In 2012, Eze was the transaction leader in the IFC largest US$200 million in a tier-1 Nigerian bank, the IFC largest investment in a Nigerian bank at that time. He was also the transaction leader on IFC’s investment in

one of the big four South African banks and managed the exposure to the bank post the investment. Eze also led a multi-disciplinary team in a US$20 million equity and quasi-equity investment in a regional bank headquartered in Botswana but with a footprint in Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Eze was also the transaction leader in the IFC’s US$25 million investment, the largest commercial bank in Zambia.

Eze has an excellent on the ground working knowledge and strategic insight of the structure of the banking landscape in sub-Saharan Africa. At IFC Eze supervised and monitored a portfolio of trade finance exposures, debt and equity investment in excess of US$350 million in various financial institutions across several African countries. 

Before joining IFC, Eze was the Head of Project finance in Diamond Bank (now Access Bank) where he managed the IFC and FMO’s on-lending facility in support of the real sector. Prior to Diamond Bank, Eze spent 4 years at Arthur Andersen Nigeria (now KPMG) where he provided audit and consulting services to Corp-orates in the Manufacturing and FMCG sector.

Eze holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School (LBS), is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and graduated 2nd best graduating student in the University of Lagos Social Sciences faculty with a B.Sc in Economics.

Throughout his career, Adebayo has held leadership positions, including CFO roles within both domestic and international financial institutions. His diverse professional background includes significant contributions as Lead – Results Delivery, Project Manager, Sales and Business Development Manager, and Head of Operations.

Adebayo is renowned for his expertise in designing and implementing internal financial control systems that optimise financial reporting accuracy and empower strategic decision-making. His tenure as Sales and Business Development Manager was marked by exceptional achievements, including substantial growth in trade volumes, deposits, and overall profitability through the cultivation of key customer relationships.

Adebayo’s strategic acumen extends to collaborating with Bain and Co on transformative finance department initiatives for leading banks. He has demonstrated success in driving cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives and spearheading cost-saving initiatives through innovative contract negotiations, facility management enhancements, and process optimizations.

Mr. Samuel Nteyen has 20 years’ experience spanning across External and Internal Auditing, Internal Control and Compliance, Business Process Design and implementation, Risk Management Design and Implementation, Investigations, Commercial Finance Business Partnering, Supply Chain Business Partnering, Financial Operations, Financial Reporting, Project Evaluation and Management, Treasury Operation and Management, Inventory Control and Management and Taxation in Church Gate Group, Transerve Disc Technologies Limited, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, Unilever Nigeria Plc, SabMiller Group, International Breweries Limited (AB Inbev Group), Evans Industries Limited (Ekulo Group) and presently in the Nigerian Aluminum Extrusions Limited. Samuel started his career in Church Gate Group in February 2003 and has worked and spent 17 out of 20 years of his career in the manufacturing industry in the Nigerian economy. Samuel joined Nigerian Aluminum Extrusions Limited, first as the Head, Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management in January 2023, due to transformation exercise in the organization I was moved to my current role as the Financial Controller of the organization in June 2023. In AB InBev, I led the control team in West Africa to design a series of financial processes and reports to be embedded in the SAP S4/HANA before the roll out and implementation of the ERP. In Evans Industries Limited, I designed the business processes for the development, deployment and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and also doubled as the Quality Assurance Manager during the Pre – Implementation, Implementation and Post – Implementation phase of the Dynamics 365 ERP project. In the Nigerian Aluminum Extrusions Limited (NIGALEX), as the Head of Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management, I have reviewed the process of operations in order to identify the risks embedded in the operations of the business. I am a member of Manco, and a member of the team saddled with the responsibility of restructuring and reengineering of the organization towards positioning it for profit maximization, growth and a market leader in the aluminum industry in Sub Saharan Africa. I am part of the team responsible for the selection of a suitable ERP for the design and implementation and ensure that many processes of the organization are technologically driven such as E-Procurement and E-Time Attendance Management system. On assumption of duty as the Financial Controller in the organization, I am currently working towards resolving identified processes in each of the organizations’ functions and operations, Procurement, Inventory towards achieving a Cost Reduction and Cost Savings. This is geared towards achieving profitability, liquidity, expansion of the business to other locations outside Lagos in Nigeria and West Africa and gaining market share. In the course of my career, Samuel has earned seven awards from different organizations namely, Transerve Disc Technologies Limited – Best Manager of the year 2007. He is a Nigerian professional with extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, along with a solid understanding of Finance. He has over twenty-one years in managerial roles, he has a proven track record of achieving results and earning awards. His expertise includes developing effective sales strategies and operational solutions that have increased productivity, reduced costs, and improved cash flow and company turnover. He possesses the practical skills, hands-on experience, and educational background necessary to significantly impact and drive organisational objectives.

  1. Over twenty-one years of experience in sales management, marketing, operations, and finance, during which he has also trained numerous company sales executives.

He was instrumental in discovering, developing, and introducing the award-winning Captain Jack Café Rum, which contributes up to 50% of the company’s alcohol beverage sales. He has successfully launched and grown sales for over twenty FMCG products, including alcohol, cigarettes, cosmetics, non-alcoholic beverages, hygiene products, premium spirits, tobacco products, toiletries, confectionery, seasonings, lighters, matches, soap, and detergent.
